The giant arm creaks into position over me.  The attendant points people to their seats and secures everyone.  I close my eyes; anticipation ripples through my body.  My heart beat and breathing both quicken.  With a sudden jolt, the cars leap forward, metal scraping against metal.  We start to climb the intimidating mountain.  Higher and higher we go, nervous chatter filling the air.  Green tree tops,  and ants scurrying around the park.  We climb so high I can touch the fluffy white clouds.   At the very top, time itself seems to stand completely still.  Without warning, we fall.  My stomach tries to lurch above my head, my arms try to raise but quickly grab hold.  Playful screams now fill in the silence.  Terror is replaced by exhilaration.
