Cold damp concrete felt through my bare feet to take the trash out. Only one car is parked for the other one asked for a divorce. Memories of the distant past reminds me of Brown Sugar and Lucy Pearl. Names given by their owners. Playful. Now Lucy Pearl is gone. Hasn't returned in quite some time but not forgotten. It leaves an empty spot that bears the mark of dried oil and small pebbles. The garage door opens and there is anew car. Red in color bu aggressive. The bad boy phase has come. Its okay but the smell of exhaust takes hold of your sense of smell. I prefer the cold damp. At least I'm not coughing. Tools everywhere. Always some part needing to be replaced or modified. Can't be barefoot out there now. Too many small swords to penetrate the bottom of my foot's soft skin. I hope this doesn't last long. But as long as Brown Sugar doesn't mind, I won't......
