Parachute silk
its made of
supposedly like
falling out of the clouds
the smoothest descent
softest landing on your ass
lingerie  in space
at first im sceptical
easing in
easy now
balance
the swing  ging  thing
side to side
to and fro left to right
melts the feelings i felt before
and oh  yes there it is
the sweet spot .
weightless  in space
 do not disturb
and then then ends the thers mefmf ewfcaxxxxxxxxxxx,;Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................
2  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Brownie on: May 16, 2018, 05:00:23 AM
sticky sweet rich moist  warm still steaming
church fete, tray bake, cake sale  brownie
summer sun dapples trees, apple  pies,  cool breeze ,
almost every thing else is a world away,
little death by decadance
and implications thereof
fat  ass tooth rot  temptacious treat
chocolaty aroma  wraps in  blankety  food comfort
ice cream on top
melting on the hot  choclate sauce dripping
mingling mmmmmmmmmmm
making new delights
to embrace the tongue
and threaten the teeth .
recipe on page 23...............

Mise en place!
was the cry.
fail to prepare,
and you prefer to fail.
onions,
diced and fried,
the need for tears,
fresh green parsley grasped in bundles
and chopped
the earthy smell
says all is well.
season the pan
hot and salted
wiped clean and oiled.
ham hits the pan
sizzles spits fizzles in fits,
add onions, tomatoes,
and fire sprites arise,
byebye eyebrows.
shake it,  flip it,
shimmy,
make it like a song.
a yellow waltz
make it dance.
give it legs,
but always you must break eggs.
6  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Pipe Organ. on: April 27, 2018, 04:06:21 PM
I long to hear it play the blues.
old fingers on the keys  control
the  movement of music coloured air
and twist it to form in the wood,
forced hot  through cold chill  shiny  tubes
and then to freedom in sound .
human voices raised
high in praise
The taste of God on the tongue
oscilate, vibrate,
reverberate, resonate.
I can almost see
the spirits of somewhere else
stirr and spin around the room
and be absorbed into the walls,
in some  Harry potterish way.
but I long to hear it play
7  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Bathtub on: April 24, 2018, 10:55:32 PM
It had been avocado green
but someone had painted it white once
in a vain attempt to make it seem what it was not .
The paint cracked and chipped mottled
and falling away now as it restates its colour.
Filled with compost and planted with  herbs
sweet marjoram, thyme ,cilantro.
heady scents infuse and confuse
as I search for weeds amongst the growth.
the grass grew up under and around it,
embracing it,
the earth claims it for its own.
Smell of woodsmoke wafts
A burgundy Wolseley serves as a greenhouse,
bright red tomatoes and peppers,
strawberrys on the dash.
Someone calls my name,
It is Jane.
I feel more alive now,
standing in the Kimmage garden
weeding and waiting for lunch.
8  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Cotton candy on: April 21, 2018, 07:30:19 PM
We call it candy floss where I come from
though its really not so good for your teeth.
I remember the sweet smell
You can actually smell sugar ?
I was quite  surprised
A wooden stick  poked into the whirly machine
the mmmmagic wand.
Incantations are made, stirring gestures
and presto,
candy floss.
pretty,
pink,
fluffy soft that curiously  turns hard as you bite into it.
but sweet
(Kinda like my wife)
gotta shoot the ring off the bottle !
and get the cuddly toy!
the  man on the waltzer!
does the mad tango.

9  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Diary on: April 19, 2018, 05:19:10 PM
The drunken diary
bleating heart
between the lines there is nothing
but spaces
wasted words
worries and wounds
stutters  shutters
shut up
things that cannot be said
for fear of
words
that
hurt
storms of razor blades
spittle bombs
you are not
the truth
not you
are  not
you.
10  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Stone on: April 16, 2018, 11:36:48 PM
heart made of stone
like a flint knife
chiseled sharpened
drenched with frothing bright red
slash and slice
sever flesh from bone
odour of fear in the air
the metallic  taste.
the cathedrals jagged lines points out the grey sky
generations placed stone upon stone upon stone
and now it embodies the thing
we fear and desire most
hard and cold
brittle
sharpened over years
heart made of stone.
11  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Spy on: April 11, 2018, 05:16:41 PM
Dont give the game away
Shame!
steamy windows and low light
strain on the eyes (ears fine)
shapes move in the hazey dusk
like lumpy  jelly in the  milky way.
they're in the hay!
The window is my telescope,
the wormhole between worlds.
Damned cold has invaded my feet
and reached my knees.
Still
I have my orders
my camera apparatus is efficient,
lenses clean.
Red blood races round and round
I feel it in my cheeks, hear it in my ears
blushing but not balking, listening not talking
My man needs to know?
what is what?
who is who ?
and where and when?
I was he who was there
then.
12  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / tent on: April 10, 2018, 05:01:29 PM
heavy cloth hard cloth
not like jumpers or jeans
tied taut by guide lines
pegged to the earth
timeless aromas
wood smoke, sweat, mold, grass
baked bean feast, burnt tea, feet

light green canvass over a solid wood frame
pitched like we were taught
so.... camping  badges  all round
stories  and ghosts abound
snore ignore sleep sound

awake to cowdung smell
and yet  more sweat ...and wet
wet feet ........wet wet wet
sore ear sore back sore neck sore legs
8  almost strangers  under a
cloth............tied up  with pegs
away from mum and dad
discovering  stuff
oh the fun we had
13  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Tulips on: April 10, 2018, 05:06:57 AM
Embrace the deep red dark red blood red
calling the eye,
makes nerves jangle.
flowers belong
in beds
in streets
in cafes
do they not?
simple sweet scent,
intoxicating poison,
heart stopping breathtaking.
crimson cherry rouge
bolshevic blush wine
invites or signals sexuality
or Danger ?
or to poke and povoke
beauty the slumberer
the latest look ........
or draw closer
the innocent morsel
then as if in disagreement
the two lips part
and something is spoken.
oh!
14  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Donut on: April 08, 2018, 11:46:26 PM
The shape of the universe,
fresh made
covered with sugar .
My fingers explore the sticky exterior
as I pluck from the
small white box.
warm,moist,soft to the touch
guilt and greed do battle in my head
my stomach like an earthquake in anticipation.
nothing since dinner yesterday
the loud street bustle fades
for a moment I am alone as it hits my tongue
sweet and greasy
I like It
though I should'nt really
sugar and crumbs climb
down inside my shirt.
Later,
I'll do the donut dance .
Box of four
three more ............
I should'nt really.
 Embarrassed

15  ObjectWriting / Object Writing Word Of The Day / Ankle on: April 07, 2018, 03:50:15 AM
Intricate shaped blue sandal
cast aside in a pool-water puddle
hot sole rests on cool white tile grey grout
follow the lines to the  toes
five in a row
pink painted toenails.
beads  of water on  sun oil brown skin.
splashing giggling screams echo
on blue plastered walls
sunburn tickle sweat trickle.
sweet flowers scent wafts with lotion in the still air.
towels on the loungers  from early morning,
warning markers of territorial  invaders.
flags planted.
