Our first cookpot in Virginia
A lidded aluminum bowl
Came from a store selling rice and beans
Empanadas and robusta coffee.

Is that a bodega? I just donít know
No one slept there with diamond lined shoes
Colombians and others came to shop there
The shelves stacked higher than me.

Seems more serious than a seven eleven
Fresh sausages and liver and meats
It was dark and close and full of stuff
An espresso pot got bought next.

Is that a bodega? I just donít know
Iíve seen others that look like crime fronts
Half empty shelves, well more than half
No service, no smile, just chill.
