Writing songs regularly for a few years now.

A spread stance to pull noodles
They are banged again in the flour
Pulled wide then folded again
Pulling thin and thinner.

Another stands by a large wok
Slicing from a dough ball
The noodle strips fly into the broth
The classic beef and noodles.

So my machine growls a different way
Extrudes like a meat grinderís sausage
It will shape ziti, lasagna or macaroni
But mostly it just makes spaghetti.

But spaghetti is so like those pulled noodles
The kind they pull long in China
So extrusion must be the really new thing
Something after Marco Polo.

I like rice noodles mixed with basil
And fish sauce and something thatís crunchy
The Vietnamese, they know noodles
In an balance of all that is lunchy.
