Rocking back and forth with the rhythmic squeak, going up and down slowly. She had blonde hair and was tall. The air was heavy with fog and and the smell of salt air gently settling in around us. We smoked cigarettes and talked for a long while. Crazy misguided teenagers with nothing better to do then hang out and talk, among other things. It was a 2 month party house. There was a Boat docked in the canal behind the house. The bay was right off in the distance. The personalities of the water changed everyday and sometimes 2 or three times a day. Gray rough choppy water, smooth soft glassy water with the sunrise, or ripples rapidly rushing against the dock and up the side of the boat. Sometimes the wind would blow the swings back and forth as though there was a ghost sitting on the plastic seat.
