Dogs drive for donuts when donuts get stale
Jump and twirl and prance
Dogs love a donut out on the deck
Where dogs do the donut dance.

Donuts get stale because of my greed
I take too many to eat
They’d feed chickens otherwise
So dogs end up with a treat.

Donuts for dogs, not my true plan
For them I bring blueberry scones
The scone dance is a prance
But for donuts you’ll see more leaps.

Leaps for the thing I also eat
It’s the sharing that makes them feel light
Dogs giddy for donuts ‘cause I eat them too
Dogs dance and prance with delight.

A sack of donuts from the food pantry
Where not all is given away
When there’s a line out to the street
Some donuts will still remain.

When you think about it, There is no point to look outside of the box. Sometimes Solo, Duo or in group, Glazed, Fried, Filled or dressed with Sugar, And complimented with sprinkles.
The Donuts is America’s favorite dessert.
Often documented in movies like a cop’s favorite, or for any workaholic .American’s devotion to the donut is like French People devotion to croissant in the collective mouth.
It crispy taste with a touch of powder served with some caramel sauce could feel like a light golden ball of joy in your mouth that will fool any stomach at least twice. It’s a special treat that give its dessert a very special status.
