Your thorns bend waiting my command. I wear waterproof pants, impermeable boots. I hear the drum sound announcing the new war, urban life against beauty nature. Porches are mines that I have to leap and skip, any shot can hit me. Aware of my duty, I lift my protection, rounded wings swaying by the furious wind. Rain comes solid flooding our street, kids and moms run, the war begins. Cars flop to move under pressure. I clench my eyes e remember a song, trying to get rid of the drums explosions that dispirit my heart. First carefull step, umbrella protecting me. Any drop can hurt me, any battle shall be lost. The metal spider spread itself for me, loyal, fight through the end of one more encounter between what man created and what had been here since beginning.
