Here's a song I wrote called "Leaf in a Hurricane". All rights reserved. 2019 Nate Stein

Tension builds on Atlantic shores as waves are crashing down
Premonitions of what's in store for this abandoned town,
Gale forces at 10 AM and skies of grey surround
Like falling off a canyon ledge destined for the ground

But she has seen it all before
Hardened through years of tropic storms
This place is home until her dying breath
So bring it on

She flies like a leaf in a hurricane
Caught in relentless winds
Desperately holding on 'til it ends
Like a leaf in a hurricane

Tension rises with violent gusts and chaos everywhere
Her precious child's sense of trust succumbs to waves of tears
Tiny hands are clinging tight to faithful teddy bears
While his mother bites her lip to hide her growing fears

But she has seen it all before
Hardened through years of tropic storms
This place is home until her dying breath
So bring it on

She flies like a leaf in a hurricane
Caught in relentless winds
Desperately holding on 'til it ends
Like a leaf in a hurricane

Nate!
Ok so you did the Object Writing from "LEAVES" and then wrote the song? Could you share what was your process?
I still feel like I need some point of the song though...

great job!
