My first time in an enchantment of this sorts. My senses heighten. I smell the grains flutter throughout the warehouse size building. The lights, low hanging and dim, sprinkle the long table tops with just enough light for you and your partner to hone in on each others conversation. I wondered why everyone was so huddled together until my eyes adjusted. I edged closer and closer to the countertop with faded denim jeans and a Johnny Cash shirt on. I didn't quite fit in but oh well. I start scanning the prices, written out in colored marker and pulled straight out from an Art teachers "to do" board. It was outrageously hard to read. I just made out the prices... $8.99, $11.99, $12.99, $10.99... For coffee!? My right eyebrow flares up. What kind of place is this? Last time I'll take the librarians word regarding any coffee spot!

"just enough light for you and your partner to hone in on each others conversation"
"colored marker and pulled straight out from an Art teachers 'to do' board"
"eyebrow flares"
