I passed by your house today, you were in your front yard waving a white flag at me. How did it end like this? Why did we have to go to war against each other? We used to love each other, remember the time when you used to smell my hair at nights, and I used to place my fingers over your back in a softly manner so that you would feel safe and be able to sleep? Remember how I used to wake you up to the smell of coffee and toasted bread? And how you would open your eyes looking at me with a smile, happy for everything present?
How did we end up in an unspoken long gone relationship where the sounds of past conversations still echo in our brains?
But there you were today, waving a white flag at me, letting me know the past is long gone, and there's no more reason for fighting. See how the whiteness of that cloth dances in the air in a majestically fashion, not because of it's fabric, or texture, or color, but because of it's meaning. I will pass by again tomorrow
