In the pocket of his Fruit of the Loom undershirt was a soft pack of Camel Lights and a black plastic comb. He smelled of ashtray with a touch of baby oil. The cellophane crinkles, shortly followed by the metallic clink of his Zippo he pulled from the pocket of his faded Wranglers. A cloud of smoke crosses the table and smacks mein the face as I study my hand, deciding what to bet. I've always wanted to shoot the moon but never had the cards or the confidence to go through with it. No-Low? Black trumps? Or do I just let him take it and hope that I can set him back enough to pull this off in the long run? If I drag this game out long enough, the vapors of his Seagram's 7 and Sun Drop will help me out, clouding his mind a tad and helping him just not give a damn. If I draw it out a bit more he won't even remember what color is trumps or even if it is his turn or mine.
