freshly wash blanket of pure white covers the ground beneath me, lightly touching the distant trees, and soon encompassing the mountains til the fog blurs my vision. People hopping horizontally as if stepping through quick sand. The frigid air pinching my cheeks and nose til they glow with an intensity. A constant peak over my shoulders to see if it was my turn to soar the sky. I am soon greeted with a slight tap on my ankles and I let gravity take its course. Burly pine wood trees are shaken awake by a group of bushy tailed nut gatherers. Small rosy faces like mine shaking their hands at me with a joyfulness. A loud hinge alerts me that I am landing from my safe flight. My feet soon meet the ground with a long passionate missed kiss

"The frigid air pinching my cheeks and nose til they glow with an intensity." - the air pinching your cheeks and nose. Love it! Great sensory description.
