The coffee is done.  I can hear the gurgling wetness of the last few drops signaling its arrival like a steam engine on its last leg and not enough left for a whistle.  Unlike the teapot who curses you to jump aboard and start your journey with a sharp hiss and angry explicative.  Maybe I should drink tea?  Huddled over my notebook, sipping the next inspirational  wave to jot down.  I hold a thought for just a moment as if it were a cloud in my mind.  The cloud begins to dissipate in the winds of new ideas and I rush to hold them to the paper.  Thoughts are multicolored and brilliant yet they always come out black and blue.  The occasional red graces the page like a beautiful woman in red shoes. She needs attention and someone to return to her.  In review of my notes, at times, I find whole pages of thoughts that i am not sure I truly wrote.  I have no recollection and the sensation sends a chill then a spark of hope.
