the air is stale and green the dust floats and darts about the space and smells of earthy graves.  Gritty sandy teeth and eyes now as you clamor for shelter.  The rumble in the distance is nothing compared to the accelerated beating of your heart there is no calm except for the now noticeable breath of the house. Visible expansion and contraction of once sturdy construction caught in the violent behavior of the angry atmosphere.  The rumble has now become a roar and time has shifted on its axis and every second has become a minute and every minute an hour.  Inner prayer is now a skipping record as there are no atheists in the eye of the beast.  Every board and nail snaps, claps and rattles like fireworks in a muted murky mist, the lights flash out and darkness surrounds you.  Hands clenched together and bodies holding tight, heads down and horrific cries harmonize with the now deafening thunder and then...the silence falls like a blanket from a third story window graceful and soft.
