The musty smell of the big top greet us.  Colorful flags poke out of the top, waving hello to the excited kids.  A man in a top hat and fine tailored vest balances on his unicycle, juggling multi-colored balls, eliciting giggles from the wide-eyed kids.  Seemingly effortlessly his feet jerk up and down on the pedals, body swaying gently like a palm tree in a stiff wind.  Bending this way and that but never falling, never dropping the balls.  He smiles constantly, never betraying the effort and concentration required to pull off this impossible feat.  He dodges the clowns making the rounds handing out balloon animals.  POP - a child cries.  The clown cries with him, a slow smile appearing as he makes a new dog, hands it to the kid, who is happy again, already forgetting his tears.
