Post-it
Blazing neon yellow, orange, and pink tongues hanging lazily out the mouth of a boring textbook. Little hearts doodles on the edges in thick black marker. A studious activity, sorting through each section to find something worthwhile. A gold panner of knowledge, sifting through the muck and finding the gold hidden under layers of sleep-inducing prose. Eyes heavily scanning the pages back and forth, searching for the next keyword to link to notes scratched down in a hurry. A bramble of blue ink, swirling into the facsimile of words, nie impossible to decipher to the untrained eye. A forest of overgrown note taking, placed in rows upon rows of curling paper. Smells like a fire, the tip of the ballpoint creating fiction upon the sets of lines, turning the blue ink black. Pencil lead under outlines of permanent marker, run over a second time to lock the ideas in. Slightly neater, but still impatiently written, each stroke cannot wait to get to the next. The bramble has been tamed, sheared back with a stubby eraser. The strokes are more focused at the very least. The next page is immediately back to chaos, a thunderstorm of words and language. rambling notes of a sleep-deprived student...
