Sleek sharp edge of the new bristle top, the new smell of permanent ink ready to pass black over the page and cover the words in their own blood.  The redacting sword of the editor.  Government officials purchase these by the ton. Carried off the truck by yellow electric fork lifts, lights flashing and  horns beeping through the large transfer station. The hydraulic hiss of the carriage ladder still pristinely clean, as if it were meant to be in a hospital type environment.  The factory floors immaculate as well, the light grey epoxy grade coloring seems to glisten and even the white rubber tires of the machines couldn't dull its certain luster.  The bright white LED lighting so bright as if the sun were captured in each element of the bulb.  The haze of white turning almost blue directly from the fixture.  Each crate and box perfectly labeled and in its place.  fragments of dust here and there, yet the underlying hum of the ventilation fans drone on and capture the infinitesimal invaders.  White hard hats and clear plastic safety goggles juxtaposed with light blue jump suits and white rubber boots on each dock worker. Gloved, sleeved, and harnessed they move like ants across the hard grey floors.
