Water particles formed on the curvature of the bottle indicating that the fridge has been keeping the unopened champagne bottle cold as the winter nights. Itís crispness and fizz all waiting with anticipation inside the bottle. Unfurling the foil like the peel of an orange and with a clockwise twist of the wire hook, the cork sits jammed inside the bottle ready to shoot its force from one side of the room to the other like a bullet from a gun and certainly with enough force to injure someoneís eye. A scrunched up face and elevation of the elbow forms part of the ritual as guests look over in anticipation for the pop which universally makes people cheer! Pop!! The sound is enough to get taste buds salivating like sweat on a summers day and eyes fixed on the opening of the bottle.  The aroma of sweet champagne circulates those nearby and the Bubbly fizz sings loudly in a French accent which seduces those standing near.
