A bed of wildflowers welcomed me into the summer morning. The potpourri waterfall washing their collective memories over my skin. I let it sink in, drinking in their history. A sweet honeysuckle breeze followed the sunrise, tickling my nostrils with the same embrace as the warm rays soaking my body. The fresh grass rustling like a gentle morning whisper from a lover. This place, more homely than my grandfathers armchair, held me hostage in its' comfort cloud. My mind eager and alert to the glories of this new day, yet hazy to the world outside this sacred vale.
