Heavy thudding clangers through my chest like a band saw, throwing my hearts rhythm off balance, my lungs expanding rapidly like balloons teetering on popping, pressing against my chest outwardly. Fresh whips of clearest dry air lapping my ankles and grasping my neck like a vicious masseuse. Eyes drying and watering at the same time like ice in a kiln, stinging. The distant earth below resplendent, dry coarse but soft pillowy earth kissing the glimmering blue jelly body of Sydney harbour. The helicopter cabin dry and cool, sun intensely ricocheting through the fuselage as our angle twists like a compass wildly spinning from polar confusion. Spearmint chewing gum slowly fadesí, a dimming light in my mouth losing power, still balancing my stomachs nausea. Muffled world drooping behind soft headphones, clear radio sounding voices accosting my ears, an echo of earlier centuries.
