dominates your senses
clings like a leech
smells like sewage on a beach
a student you just cant teach
the most beautiful girl just out of reach

Depression
wears you like a glove
makes you disbelieve in love
gives the final push and shove
tastes like an ink-stained paper aeroplane
and makes you stumble like a derailed train

Depression
feels like slow motion
like love without devotion
a desert in need of an ocean
a magician in need of a potion
like New York without the commotion

Depression is a possession id like to dispossess
