First one of these that I have written in a long time about a man playing the piano at Euston Train Station

The chords echo through the hallway
Strangers stop and turn their heads
As in unison they take a pause
From the journeys that lie ahead.

A simple act of beauty
That unites the world at large
An unknown man unleashing his soul
For no extra charge

No-one knows his name
Nor where he calls his home
He isnít playing to his friends
He just came here on his own

To spread the joy of music
To anyone who cares to hear
To give the gift of happiness
To anyone who will lend an ear.

There is no applause when he is finished
We all continue with our lives
But we all hope that we will be back again
When he returns for his reprise.
